Sports field management professionals are invited to participate in a survey on site-specific weed control practices in turfgrass management. The feedback will help guide future research priorities, inform technology development, and support industry initiatives. The survey is being conducted by Bholuram Gurjar, postdoctoral research associate at Texas A&M University; Madan Sapkota, Ph.D., student at Texas A&M University; and Chase Straw, assistant professor at Penn State University. SFMA Turfgrass Science Certification approved as Ohio industry-recognized credential
The Sports Field Management Association (SFMA) announced that its Turfgrass Science Certification, delivered through the iCEV platform, has been officially approved by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce as an industry-recognized credential for the 2026–2027 school year.
